Prince Harry ensures the Queen’s safety.

Harry, who was previously dubbed “delusional” for claiming he was ‘protecting’ the Queen, is presently competing in the Invictus Games in The Hague. The question of protection is a hot topic for the prince, who is at odds with the Home Office about his own safety in the United Kingdom.

‘Being with her was amazing, it was just so nice to see her, she’s on great form,’ Harry remarked on the Today show about his meeting with the Queen. She’s always had a fantastic sense of humour with me, and all I’m doing is making sure she’s safe and surrounded by the appropriate people.

‘It was nice to see her again because Meghan and I had tea with her.’ ‘When he talks about the Invictus Games, he’s fantastic, but when he talks about anything personal, he seems to get a little distracted,’ royal author Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine, told Sky News today. ‘I also thought it was odd that he claimed he wanted to make sure the Queen was safe and surrounded by the right people.’ Given that he hasn’t been around, what does he know about it? It seems weird to me. ‘He’s quite pleased in America, obviously very satisfied with what he’s doing and with his small family, but he’s very protective.’
It comes after William and Meghan boycotted Prince Philip’s burial ceremony at Westminster Abbey last month due to ‘security concerns,’ and after the couple made a series of scathing claims against the Royal Family in their Oprah interview, including accusations of racism.

Harry has only made a few trips to the UK since the couple moved to California in the aftermath of Brexit, but he elected not to attend Prince Philip’s memorial ceremony, which took place just over two weeks before the Sussexes visited the Queen.
