During their attack on Ukraine’s eastern Donbas region, the Russian military continues to face environmental, logistical, and technical problems, with the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelling their attacks.
The UK Ministry of Defense stated this in its latest intelligence bulletin issued on Twitter, according to Ukrinform.
According to the latest update, Russian shelling and strikes on the Donbas line of control have increased, with Ukrainian forces repelling multiple Russian assaults.
“The environmental, logistical, and technical problems that have dogged Russia thus far, along with the persistence of the highly determined Ukrainian military forces, continue to impede Russia’s capacity to progress,” British intelligence warned.
According to the assessment, Russia’s inability to suppress opposition in Mariupol, as well as their indiscriminate attacks that have damaged the local civilian population, demonstrate their persistent failure to achieve their objectives as rapidly as they would like.
Russian soldiers are regrouping as of 06:00 on April 20 in order to continue their advance toward the town of Lyman in the Donetsk area, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The invaders are focusing their efforts on capturing Mariupol, while continuing to attack the Azovstal industrial area.
