On Tuesday, actor Johnny Depp is set to testify in his $50 million (£38 million) defamation case against ex-wife Amber Heard, whom he accuses of sullying his character.

The complaint stems from a Washington Post opinion post in which Ms Heard describes herself as a victim of domestic abuse. He denies any wrongdoing.
Ms. Heard has responded by filing a counterclaim.
The civil trial in Virginia, which is being keenly monitored, is currently in its second week.
The jury heard testimony from Mr Depp’s former therapist, who detailed how the famous ex-couple engaged in “mutual abuse,” as well as medical personnel who treated Mr Depp when he was detoxing from opiates.
So far, the emphasis of the trial has been on Mr Depp’s demeanour and whether or not he was ever verbally or physically violent to Ms Heard. Mr. Depp’s lawyers have accused his ex-wife, who is also an actress, of putting on the “show of her life” in her allegations of abuse.
A nurse who was recruited to treat Mr Depp’s drug addiction and who also attended the couple’s wedding testified on Monday that she saw Ms Heard “attempt to provoke” disagreement with her ex-husband on multiple occasions. Nurse Debbie Lloyd, who regularly travelled with Mr Depp, said she would occasionally create fights with him while he was receiving medical care.
