Relatives of the Moskva crew: “We want answers”

Relatives of the Moskva crew: “We want answers”

It has been four days since the incident of Moskva cruiser. No information has been provided, as the relatives desperately wait for the fate of 510 crew members.

Moscow denies the hitting of warship by missiles, insisting that a fire broke out that caused an explosion of the ammunition it carried.

The Russian Ministry of Defense states that there haven’t been deaths among the crew.

The total number of dead and injured remains low-key.

According to Russian state news outlets, Moskva members were turned over to the port of Sevastopol, citing unidentified sources and making no mention of survivors or victims. According to the Russian military, the ship was totally evacuated.

Several parents of Moskva crew members have already alerted international media that their sons were on board, despite being in reserve.

Conscripts and reservists will not take part in the conflict in Ukraine, according to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Eskender Dzheparov recognized his brother in the video. “We were very happy to see him in the video in Sevastopol. The day after the tragedy, he called our mother and said he was alive and well. That she should not worry about him. He did not tell us what happened, he does not say much. He calls us from different numbers. He is in the military, he started last July. He certainly never signed a contract.”

A source reveals that 37 crew members lost their lives, while at least 100 were injured.

Yulia Tsivova learned that her 19-year-old son Andrei had been slain. She was, however, provided no information about his death or burial.

She said, “I am convinced he is not the only one who died.”
