According to authorities, two teenagers were murdered and numerous others were injured in a shooting that occurred during a major party in Pittsburgh over the weekend.

Multiple suspects are being sought in the early Sunday shooting in Pittsburgh’s East Allegheny area, which occurred at a residence rented via the short-term rental business Airbnb.
According to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office, the youths who were slain were both 17-year-old boys. According to Pittsburgh Police Chief Scott Schubert, eight additional individuals were shot and five others were injured while fleeing the shooting.
According to the city, the party drew up to 200 persons, the majority of them were under the age of 21.
According to officials, the gunshot occurred at 12:30 a.m., and when police got on the site, they spotted numerous young individuals fleeing the area. The situation was chaotic, according to Schubert, with more than 90 bullets fired from several firearms both inside and outside the house.
The chief explained, “You had people fleeing, just wanting to get out of there.”
“As many as 50 gunshots were fired inside, leading several partygoers to leap out the windows, receiving injuries such as broken bones and lacerations,” according to the press release. “Several additional shots were fired outside the property.”
“Here we are at Easter with numerous families, two of whom will not see a loved one,” the chief explained.
Officials stated Sunday morning that investigators were gathering evidence from as many as eight different crime locations.
