Pennsylvania and New York Snow

According to the National Weather Service, an unseasonal nor’easter is predicted to cause “dangerous” travel conditions late Monday and Tuesday.

From the Appalachians to upstate New York, as well as sections of Vermont and Massachusetts, eight million people were under winter weather warnings.

5 to 10 inches of snow is expected in upstate New York and far northeast Pennsylvania. Heavy, wet snow paired with severe gusts in New England could bring down power lines.

“Temperatures will be chilly enough that the calendar reads ‘February’ rather than ‘April,'” according to the National Weather Service.

Flooding from the Carolinas might reach Delaware and South Jersey as a result of the storm. Minor flooding is also possible in Connecticut and Long Island.
