Social media risks; teenager murdered over an online feud
Josh Hall, 17, was stabbed ridiculously by Harley Demmon in Cam, Gloucestershire, on April 16 last year and left the world the next day.
The guardians of a young boy killed by an adversary following a web-based fight have cautioned about the risks of web-based entertainment in the principal commemoration of their child’s demise.
Josh Hall was 17 when he was wounded to no end by Harley Demmon, who was matured only 15 at the hour of the assault at a games ground in Cam, close to Dursley in Gloucestershire.
There had been antagonism between the two young men on Snapchat and different stages over offending remarks towards a young lady that Demmon wrongly accepted Josh had made.
The pair had organized to meet and “figure out their disparities”, however, Dennom was equipped with a blade and cut Josh multiple times during a showdown that endured only two minutes.
Demmon denied murder however was indicted in November last year and imprisoned for existence with a base term of 14 years by an appointed authority at Gloucester Crown Court.

On the primary commemoration of her child’s passing, Josh’s mom Kristy Hall said: “I miss him with each and every thump of my heart.
“My home doesn’t feel right, my family doesn’t feel right, my life doesn’t feel right.”
In a meeting with Gloucestershire Police posted on the power’s YouTube channel, Mrs Hall said: “You go from a console into an ongoing circumstance extremely, rapidly and you could harm your life, another person’s life – simply contemplate what you’re doing.
“Contemplate the effect of your words, of your activities, on others. Assuming you’re experiencing the same thing where you’ve gone up to this point, it’s never past the time to stop, it’s truly not.
“In the event that Harley had that day had gone ‘I’m not taking my blade’, Josh would in any case be here.”
Mrs Hall said online entertainment had given Demmon “access” to Josh.
Honoring her child, Mrs Hall said: “Josh was astounding – exceptionally saucy, extremely interesting, loads of magnetism, you were unable to be distraught at him for long on the grounds that he would simply make you giggle.”
