Global sensation, K-pop band BTS’ Permission to Dance concert in Las Vegas came to an end. The two-hour-long performance was full of bittersweet moments.
At the end of the concert, the septet – consisting of members Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook – surprised the ARMYs with a special announcement of releasing their new album.
A short video played with a montage of the members in black and white, with band leader RM’s voice saying, “We are Bulletproof”.
The screen then goes black and a date appears: June 10, 2022, leaving the stadium erupting in applause. Following the original teaser, the band shared a video from the show on Twitter, while the band’s company, Big Hit Music, confirmed the new album on the band’s fan community platform, Weverse.
“This is Big Hit Music,” says the narrator. On June 10, 2022, BTS will release their next album. The new album’s details will be announced in a separate notification at a later date.”
BTS made cameos at the Grammys and the Oscars earlier this month, highlighting their continued mainstream success.
