Mayor advises residents not to return Kyiv just yet

Ukrainian forces continue to recapture areas occupied by Russia’s military. They found more than 900 civilians in the city around Kyiv.

Russia dropped a missile on Saturday, which billowed smoke over Kyiv.

The attack caused a person to die, and several others were injured.

Kyiv Mayor, Vitali Klitschko, has cautioned residents who fled the city not to return before the situation calms.

“We’re not ruling out further strikes on the capital,” he said.

“If you have the opportunity to stay a little bit longer in the cities where it’s safer, do it.” He urged the public.
