President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine has warned that Russia may use tactical nuclear weapons during its invasion of Ukraine, causing global concern.
‘We should be ready, not afraid. But I don’t think that’s a question for Ukraine, but for the whole world.’
CIA Director William Burns warned that Russian President Vladimir Putin might use a tactical nuclear weapon as a desperate act amid military setbacks in its 50-day invasion.
As a potential threat, he mentioned both nuclear and chemical weapons.
‘Chemical weapons, they should do it, they can do it; the lives of the people are meaningless to them.’ That’s why,’ Zelensky explained, his English occasionally stumbling.
