Saudi Arabia acknowledged three additional COVID-19-related deaths on Friday, bringing the total to 9,066.
Saudi health authorities verified 105 additional cases in the Kingdom over the preceding 24 hours, bringing the total to 752,396.
The new infections occurred in Jeddah, Riyadh, Madinah, and Makkah, with 23 occurring in Jeddah, 19 occurring in Riyadh, 15 occurring in Madinah, and 15 occurring in Makkah. Several further cities reported fewer than ten new cases.
According to the Ministry of Health, 62 persons were in serious condition as a result of the current occurrences.
Additionally, the ministry reported the recovery of 265 patients from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recovered patients in the Kingdom to 738,531.
According to the ministry, 4,799 COVID-19 cases remained active, and 11,476 PCR tests were completed in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 41,727,951.
Since the Kingdom’s vaccination program began, about 65 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been delivered.
The ministry continues to encourage parents to register their children between the ages of 5 and 11 for the vaccination in order to assure their safety and prevent them against variations and other consequences.
The ministry, which operates 587 immunization clinics around the country, asked anyone who have not yet obtained their vaccinations to do so using its Sehhaty app.
