National Center for Seismology said an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 struck at 6:56 a.m. local time on Friday, 1176 kilometres north of Pangin, Arunachal Pradesh.
Further, the National Center for Seismology informed Arunachal Pradesh that an earthquake had struck the region north of Pangin at a distance of 1176 kilometres.
It occurred at 06:56:19 IST on April 15th, 1176 kilometres north of Pangin, Arunachal Pradesh, at a latitude of 38.62 degrees longitude (a depth of 30 kilometres), and at longitude (a length of 97.05 degrees.) according to the NCS.

According to the National Center for Seismology, an earthquake of magnitude 5.1 struck Arunachal Pradesh at 9:51 p.m. last month in the same area (NCS).
At 1174 kilometres, the earthquake shook the region to the north of Pangin.
