This weekend, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will attend the Invictus Games in the Netherlands.
According to the IB Times, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who will be in the Netherlands for the Invictus Games this weekend, will not be officially welcomed by the Dutch royal family.
The Dutch royal family was expected to extend their services to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex when they visit the Hague for Harry’s Invictus Games from April 16 to 22, according to sources, but this was not to be.
Prince Harry and Meghan will allegedly not be granted the opportunity to meet with Dutch King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima, in addition to not receiving a royal welcome in the Netherlands.
They will also not be given the opportunity to stay at the royal home, which is generally reserved for visiting members of the British royal family.
According to Dutch royal biographer Moniek Bloks, they may be spotted ‘hitchhiking’ with the Dutch royals, who will allegedly attend the games’ opening and closing ceremonies.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stood down as senior members of the British royal family in 2020 and have since migrated to the United States, prompting the snub.
