Elon Musk offers to buy twitter. Does he always play to win?

Elon Musk makes an offer worth more than $43 billion, in order to buy Twitter, and make the company private.

Tesla’s CEO final offer closed at $52.20 per share for 100% of Twitter. He proceeded if the offer was not accepted, he would have to reconsider his position at the company.

He rejected to join the board of directors and criticized the social media platforms in tweets.

He wrote that he would want to transform the platform into a private company.

“I invested in Twitter as I believe in its potential to be the platform for free speech around the globe, and I believe free speech is a societal imperative for a functioning democracy,” he wrote. “However, since making my investment I now realize the company will neither thrive nor serve this societal imperative in its current form.”

Musk said that that the takeover was not an attempt to threaten, but the changes needed to be made for a good investment.
