Zion Williamson dunks 360 windmill before Pelicans’ Play-In game, watch

The right foot injury of Zion Williamson has recovered and reached the stage where he can now play in controlled scrimmages with assistant coaches and players.

Williamson has yet to play this season, and he has been ruled out of the Pelicans’ Play-In game against the Spurs, despite stealing the show during warmups. With remarkable ease, the former No. 1 choice looked as explosive as ever while slamming down a 360-windmill dunk.

The dunk went viral on Twitter almost instantly, as did ESPN’s halftime spectacular during the Hawks-Hornets Play-In game.

There’s no guarantee he’ll play in the playoffs if the Pelicans make it that far, but he hasn’t been ruled out just yet.

During a preseason exercise last summer, Zion Williamson shattered the fifth metacarpal in his right foot. As an All Star in 2020-21, he averaged 27.0 points and 7.2 rebounds per game.
