Yesterday, Ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan has appealed to the people of Peshawar to participate in today’s protest against the alleged US-led regime-change operation in Pakistan.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) also resigned from the national assembly (NA) ahead of the election for the new prime minister after Khan was deposed via a no-confidence motion.

Imran Khan has announced to mobilize masses across the country for immediate elections after a massive response on Sunday to his protest call following his ouster.

The first of the series of protests will be held today in Peshawar, followed by Karachi on Sunday and in Lahore on April 23.
