Brno, the second-largest Czech city, has seen an influx of Ukrainians since Russia started its deadly campaign on Ukraine.
They’ve come for lessons aimed to educate them how to wield lethal firearms safely while yet inflicting damage on their adversary. At least 130 men and women have received free instruction on how to defend yourself against an assailant thus far.
CS Solutions, a security firm, is reportedly providing the instruction. Michal Ratajsky, the company’s owner, informed the media that he is doing this as “our contribution to the support for Ukrainians.”
The firm supplies everything else, including expert instructors, firearms, and a shooting range, according to the AP, which reported on the crowdfunding effort. In addition to learning how to use firearms, the courses teach students how to navigate about a battlefield and how to administer first aid.
They may soon have to put their abilities to the test in the combat zone that their country has turned into.
Dembitska is one of at least 130 Ukrainians residing in the Czech Republic who have received free-of-charge training to learn how to defend themselves against the invader. There is the possibility of her returning if the Ukrainian government needs her, she added. Only a few of the combatants had ever fired a firearm before the conflict broke out in their country.
