New York: MS-13’s Leniz Escobar is the “Little Devil”

New York: MS-13’s Leniz Escobar is the “Little Devil”

Leniz Escobar, a 22-year-old, lured five men into an MS-13 ambush. Only one survived, on Monday.

Five years ago today, an MS-13 gang affiliate known as “Diablita,” or “Little Devil,” was convicted on federal racketeering and murder charges.

Exactly five years later she is convicted in a massacre of four young men in New York, which prosecutors described as “a horrifying frenzy of violence.”

Leniz and Keyli Gomez lured the victims and killed them on 11 April, 2017.

The horrific ambush attack included machetes, knives, an axe, a chisel, and clubs.

In the woods surrounding children’s sports fields in Central Islip, New York, it killed Michael Lopez, Justin Llivicura, Jorge Tigre, and Jefferson Villalobos.

Peace said, “The defendant showed utter disregard for human life by leading the victims into a killing field, to their slaughter, to enhance her stature with her fellow cold-blooded murderers within the MS-13 gang.”

She was a juvenile at that time, but judge requested the prosecutor to take an action the next year.

Judge, Joseph Bianco wrote, “The seriousness of the alleged offenses cannot be overstated. The defendant is charged with four premeditated and brutal murders carried out for the MS-13. The government alleges that she instigated the murders by showing pictures of some of the victims flashing MS-13 signs to MS-13 members, knowing that their punishment would be violent deaths.”

The man who survived, escaped while running, and jumped a fence, saving his life. He helped the investigators in solving the case.

Gomez admitted to racketeering, testified against Escobar, claiming that the two of them lured the victims out that night and even drove them to the park, where a group of MS-13 members was waiting to encircle and massacre them after dark. The attack has been blamed on more than a dozen members and associates.
