After a five-year break, Prince Charles and Camilla are looking forward to returning to Canada

In May, Prince Charles and Camilla will go to Canada to meet with communities in Newfoundland and Labrador, Ottawa, and the Northwest Territories.

“To honour Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall will visit Canada in May,” according to their office, Clarence House.

Following their last visit to Canada in 2017, the Prince and Duchess are excited to return.

“It is, as always, a tremendous thrill to be back in Canada – a place that is very dear to us both,” the Prince stated during his recent visit with the Duchess of Cornwall. We are always made to feel at ease in Canada, and the warmth of your greeting is deeply appreciated.”

Their Royal Highnesses are involved in a variety of Canadian charities and military organisations.

The Royal Family has a long history with Canada; the Prince of Wales first visited in 1970, and Canada has been The Queen’s most visited nation during her reign.
