ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will undertake a day-long visit to Karachi on Wednesday, where he will chair a consultative meeting on the development projects.

The prime minister along with the leaders of allied parties will pay his respects at the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam.

The purpose of the visit to the mausoleum is to reiterate observance of the golden principles of the Founder of the Nation aimed at the progress and prosperity of the country.

Shehbaz Sharif will also visit the Sindh Chief Minister’s House.

Shehbaz Sharif also held important consultations with the leadership of allied parties today over the formation of the federal cabinet.

During his meetings with key leaders of various parties at their residences including PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui of MQM, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Sardar Akhtar Mengal, Dr Khalid Magsi, Shah Zain Bugti and Aslam Bhotani, the prime minister individually expressed his gratitude to these leaders and their members of the assembly for supporting him during his nomination and election to the office of the prime minister.

The prime minister said that with the same confidence and passion, they would move ahead.

He said that they would implement promises and resolve issue in consultation and cooperation with the allied parties.
