A mother who wrote contact information on her two-year-old daughter’s back while escaping Ukraine revealed her desperation.
Sasha Makoviy stated that she wrote little Vira’s name, age, and phone numbers on her in case the family was separated or killed while escaping Kyiv.
“She could be located and would know who she is if we died,” Ms Makoviy explained.
The family has relocated to France, where they are “surrounded with love and care.”
Ms Makoviy took a snapshot of the writing on Vira’s back to Instagram shortly after arriving in southern France, and the image has now gone viral.
