The death of a 90-year-old man in Monmouthshire has sparked a murder probe.
The man was found unresponsive outside a residence in Monmouthshire on April 5 and died in hospital three days later as a result of his injuries, Gwent Police said. The people closest to him have been notified.
Suspected murder charges have been filed against a 68-year-old lady from Abergavenny, who has been freed on bail.
There were reports of an injured individual in the community of Llanfair Kilgeddin, near Abergavenny, according to a Welsh Ambulance Service spokeswoman.
An ambulance sent the man to Cwmbran University Hospital’s Grange University Hospital for treatment.
