Two men stabbed in Lurgan

Two males have been stabbed in Lurgan, County Armagh, in separate incidents.

A 40-year-old male was stabbed on Union Street, while a 20-year-old guy was stabbed on Windsor Avenue, according to police.

At 20:23 BST and 20:36 BST, the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received two 999 calls and sent a crew to each location.

Both guys were brought to the Craigavon Area Hospital for treatment. As of now, we don’t know how they’re doing.

Afterwards, a 19-year-old male was taken into custody in the vicinity of Lurgan Park and is currently being questioned on two charges of attempted murder.

An appeal has been made to anyone with information to get in touch with the authorities.
