Pakistan’s parliament votes for Shehbaz Sharif as prime minister

Pakistan’s lawmakers voted in competition chief Shehbaz Sharif because the country’s new prime minister on Monday, after Imran Khan become ousted on the weekend in a no-confidence vote over allegations of terrible governance.

 

Sharif, the chief of the Pakistan Muslim League-N celebration and more youthful brother of three-time prime minister Nawaz Sharif, obtained 174 out of 342 votes in Monday’s vote in parliament and is about to function top minister till the following general election, that’s predicted to take place in 2023.
