Ryan Reynolds breaks heart of Manchester United fans with stunning answer to cries about buying the club

Ryan Reynolds has broken the hearts of Manchester United supporters after one urged for him to buy the club.

Last year, the Hollywood star bought Wrexham with fellow actor Rob McElhenney, making him the first American actor to own a football club in the United Kingdom.

Reynolds, 45, has thoroughly enjoyed his ownership of the National League team, but he has no ambition to expand his football holdings.

Despite his health problems, the Canadian responded to pleas to send Wrexham icon Gareth Davies to the forthcoming FA Trophy final at Wembley.

“Rob and I will make sure Gareth makes it to Wembley in comfort,” he posted on Twitter.

We’ll show up for him, just like he did for @Wrexham AFC. #GarethIsGoingToWembley”.

When a Manchester United supporter read the post, he said, “Please buy Man Utd.”

“I’m already seeing someone,” Reynolds said.

During their first full season as co-owners, Ryan and Rob have experienced some amazing events.

The pair were able to see their first game earlier this season, when their team lost 3-2 to Maidenhead.

Following the game, Reynolds described football as a “beautiful, gorgeous, amazing, great, soul-annihilating curse.”

After witnessing Wrexham come back from a 5-2 deficit to overcome Dover Athletic 6-5 last month, he joked that he “lost nine years of his life.”

The Dragons are currently in second place in the National League, eight points behind leaders Stockport County.

They will meet County in the FA Trophy final at Wembley next month.
