Elon Musk proposes Twitter’s headquarters to be converted into a homeless shelter.

Twitter headquarters to be converted into a homeless shelter. Musk made the proposal via a Twitter poll on Saturday night.

Nearly 1.2 million people had responded by Sunday morning, and 91.1% of them voted in favor of the idea.

“No one shows up anyway,” says Elon Musk, Twitter Inc.’s largest shareholder, advocated turning the social media company’s San Francisco headquarters into a homeless shelter.

Musk’s survey comes a week after he bought a 9.2% stake in Twitter, making him the company’s largest shareholder.

Since his stock purchase, Musk has been critical of Twitter’s management of free speech on the platform and has recommended a number of amusing improvements to the firm.

He polled again on whether the letter “W” should be removed from “Twitter” on Sunday morning. “Yes” and “Of course” were the only options received.

Last week, Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal revealed that Musk would join the company’s board of directors.

According to him, Musk will also take part in a town hall Q&A with Twitter employees, some of whom have expressed anxiety about Musk’s position at the firm.

The decision came after he criticized the platform for lacking the freedom to speech.

He asked through social networking site, “Is a new platform needed?”

80 million Twitter followers urged him to buy Twitter outright or build his own platform at the time.
