On Sunday, Saudi stocks finished marginally higher, with gains recorded by a number of important firms, including AMAK and ACWA Power. TASI, the Saudi main index, closed 0.61 percent higher at 13,395, as of the closing bell.
Nomu, the parallel market, fell 0.21 percent to 24,245.
AMAK led the gainers with a ten percent increase.
Since the start of the session, NADEC has been the biggest loser, down 3.54 percent, while Nama Chemicals Co. fell 2.75 percent.
ACWA Power and Bank Aljazira were among the gainers, rising 6.80 percent and 6.18 percent, respectively.
Aramco, Saudi Arabia’s largest oil company, finished today’s trading session 0.12% lower.
The Saudi National Bank increased by 0.28 percent, while Al Rajhi, the Kingdom’s largest bank, increased by 0.49 percent.
In terms of Saudi pharmaceutical companies, Nahdi Medical Co. was up 0.96 percent at the close, while Aldawaa Medical Services Co. was up 0.52 percent.
Al-Rajhi Company for Cooperative Insurance lost 0.73 percent in the insurance industry.
Almarai Co. gained 1.15 percent in the food and beverage industry.
As of 3:30 p.m. Saudi time, Brent crude was trading at $102.78 a barrel, while US benchmark West Texas Intermediate was trading at $98.26 per barrel.
