Bowen Yang informs this weekend’s Saturday Night Live presenter, “Gill-en-hall, your name is pronounced, Gill-en-hall.”
Camila Cabello and Jake Gyllenhaal are getting ready for their next Saturday Night Live appearances!
The 41-year-old Ambulance actor and the 25-year-old “Bam Bam” singer were joined by SNL cast member Bowen Yang for a series of humorous promotions ahead of their big night on April 9, all of which highlight the stars’ amazing acting capabilities.
The A-listers argue about how to pronounce one other’s names in the first section of the video. After Gyllenhaal introduces himself, Yang, 31, corrects him, saying, “Gill-en-hall, your name is pronounced Gill-en-hall.”
Gyllenhaal responds, “I assure you it isn’t,” to which Cabello responds, “Gua-ran-tee, you gua-ran-tee it.” “Yeah, both of you are completely incorrect,” Jake continues.
The film then switches to a second ad, in which Yang expresses his joy at the arrival of spring.
Gyllenhaal adds, “The birds are chirping,” while Cabello adds, “The flowers are blossoming.” “The sunken, unblinking eyes of the marshmallow Peeps stare at me, taunting me to take a bite, but I can’t! I’m not going to do it!” Yang goes on.
“Sorry, I’m auditioning for a film called Marshmallow Peeps 2. Where are my peeps? Easter 2023, in cinemas “He comes to a conclusion.
The NBC teaser ends with Yang thanking Cabello and Gyllenhaal for performing the ads despite the fact that they “had to get up early” and “don’t get paid,” to which the show’s host and musical guest remind Yang that they do get paid this Saturday. Yang becomes irritated and goes off camera, saying, “Then who is playing me like a fiddle?”
Cabello’s debut on the long-running sketch comedy series follows the release of her new album, Familia, on Friday.
