Queen Elizabeth’s touching tribute to Prince Philip revealed

Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth’s husband of more than 70 years, died last year, but the monarch makes it a point to keep his memory alive in the most moving of ways.

As the first anniversary of the Duke of Edinburgh’s death approaches, the Queen has ordered that one of his most important and famous clothes be displayed as a mark of respect, according to Express UK.

The National Museum of the Royal Navy in Portsmouth will be showcasing a naval uniform worn by Prince Philip during his time in the navy, including his admiral cap, according to the journal.

On Saturday, April 9, one year after the duke’s death at the age of 99, the attire will be put on display.

The exhibition is part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee festivities, as well as an act of remembrance on Philip’s death anniversary.
