Pakistani batsman Abid Ali has made a come back to the training nets after recovering from heart surgery.
Last year in December, the 34-year-old was diagnosed with acute coronary syndrome and has been undergoing rehabilitation ever since.
Abid was taken to the hospital after experiencing chest pains during the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy’s last round match between Central Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. During the procedure, he was given two stents.
On Twitter, the right-handed batter released a video of himself batting in the nets in full flow. While uploading the video, he also left a message for his supporters.
“Ramadan is a blessing and my training is getting better in this blessed month. With your prayers, this batting will come from the nets to the field and the Pakistan team, In Shaa Allah,” Abid Tweeted.
