Glam In a frenzy of rage over sanctions, Russian affluent girls tore up Chanel purses

Rich Russian ladies are filming themselves chopping up Chanel purses in order to protest being unable to purchase the popular things due to trade restrictions imposed on Russia.
Trade restrictions are now in force, and a number of well-known businesses, including McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, and Chanel, have ceased operations in Russia following their invasion of Ukraine.

The Chanel prohibition has infuriated Moscow models and influencers, with many accusing the company of “Russophobia” and resorting to social media to film themselves trashing Chanel merchandise.

Chanel has also requested Russians living abroad to sign commitments guaranteeing that the items would not be shown or worn in Russia.

Despite the trade sanctions imposed as a result of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, wealthy Russians are retaliating against Chanel.

Marina Ermoshkina, a 28-year-old TV presenter and actress, expressed her displeasure that Russian women were had to sign pledges stating that they would not use Chanel items in Russia.

“Not a single thing or brand is worth my love for my Motherland and my self-respect,” she stated as she cut into her accessories bag with industrial scissors. I am opposed to Russophobia and the businesses that encourage it.

“I don’t need Chanel if possessing it means selling my Motherland.”

“Having Chanel is not significant for us Russian ladies,” Ermoshkina said, urging others to burn up their merchandise. We were the brand’s spokespersons. We’ve wanted to get this backpack since we were kids.”

According to the Daily Mail, several notable Russians have attacked Chanel over their trade bans, with DJ Katya Guseva declaring, “I am saying ‘No’ to Chanel.” They are pushing me to sign a humiliating paper in which I am being forced to forsake my Motherland in favour of their brand.

“I am opposed to Russophobia and nationality segregation. To demonstrate my seriousness, I will just chop up this bag. I don’t require it any more. Chanel, farewell.”

Victoria Bonya, a 42-year-old model, also chopped up her Chanel things, saying: “I have to ask, if Chanel House does not respect its customers, why should we respect Chanel? Goodbye.”
