CHECHNYA’s merciless chief has criticised Putin’s attitude as not being harsh enough, as the Russian leader’s inner circle appears to be disintegrating.
Warlord Ramzan Kadyrov, 45, has accused Russia’s foreign minister, Dmitri Peskov, of failing to recognise real patriotism in the midst of the Ukrainian conflict.
Kadyrov wields an iron fist over Chechnya, and his foot troops have been accused of human rights violations including as torture and extrajudicial murders.
He called the Kremlin’s battle in Ukraine a “jihad” for Chechen warriors and said of the lack of patriotism, “Something should be done about it.”
The president’s harsh words came immediately after he chastised Vladimir Medinsky, the head of the Kremlin delegation to the Ukraine negotiations.
The west dubbed Kadyrov “Putin’s Pet” when he reacted angrily to the announcement of the withdrawal of soldiers from Kyiv, proposing that Medinsky’s “mouth should be taped shut.”
The invasion of Ukraine, according to an FSB whistleblower known as Wind of Change, validates the bloodthirsty Chechen commander.
“It appears he has opted to gamble. “Kadyrov initiated a vigorous campaign in the Kremlin to undermine the chiefs of the security wing,” an unidentified whistleblower stated in letters revealed by exiled human rights campaigner Vladimir Osechkin.
“There is so much volatility now that he could triumph.” If [Putin] gives him even a portion of the security bloc, he will have complete control of Russia tomorrow. The war party and the peace party
