A UKRAINIAN immigrant looking for a host in the UK has received disturbing texts from guys.

Julia Skubenko, 30, sent a desperate plea requesting Brits to offer safe sanctuary but received a filthy response instead.

After being forced to evacuate her beloved nation in order to avoid Russian forces, the refugee took her aspirations for a new beginning to Facebook.

Julia, who owned a thriving cleaning firm in Kyiv, made a heartfelt post on the social networking site, appealing to an 18,000-strong group.

The entrepreneur added, under a photo of herself smiling, that she had never expected to be “forced to migrate to England.”

But the despondent Ukrainian conceded she now “had to start over,” promising her hosts that she would “get back on her feet” as soon as possible.

Julia, who migrated to the capital of her war-torn nation from an impoverished town, included links to her social media sites as well as her phone number.

Her poignant appeal, however, was marred by a slew of unmarried guys giving her a room, some of whom asked for “marriage.”

She told the Daily Mail that she told one man she was only interested in homes with other women living in them when he revealed his alarming hidden goals.

“Too terrible, we could have started a family,” he allegedly said.

Before trying to hire her as his “help,” another opportunist stated that he controlled an oil firm and a bank.

The 30-year-old says she finds it difficult to believe the guys are “writing out of sympathy” and is afraid that Ukrainian women may be exploited since they have no other choice.

“I’m afraid about the females from my nation,” Julia added.

After sifting through the deluge of strange communications, she has finally found a kindhearted host.

According to a senior council official, more than one-quarter of the 40 matches approved by the Home Office are between males over the age of 50 and women in their twenties or early thirties.

‘TINDER’ FOR TRAFFICKERS

The whistleblower expressed fear that a lack of safeguards may lead to a “major abuse case.”

Around 1,000 migrants are said to have been partnered through the Government’s convoluted Homes for Ukraine initiative, which is overseen by Michael Gove’s Levelling Up department.

However, Labour’s Shadow Levelling Up Secretary Lisa Nandy criticised the system’s exploitative design.

“Michael Gove has basically established Tinder for migrants, asking needy individuals to swipe right to find refuge,” she added.

“This is a major humanitarian issue, not an online dating site. People should be matched by the government.”

Delays and mountains of paperwork for Brits, according to charities, play perfectly into the hands of thieves.

“We are already aware of persons advertising on social media with illicit purposes.”
