Ukraine’s President, Volodymyr Zelensky, says Russian forces are withdrawing’slowly but noticeably’ from northern Ukraine, but’mine the entire region.’

Despite a “slow but evident” pullback from northern Ukraine, Russian soldiers have placed explosives in homes and bodies near Kyiv, according to Zelensky.

He stated: “The occupiers are evacuating their soldiers from our country’s north. Withdrawal is gradual yet obvious.”

Meanwhile, the President stated last night that the troops are mining the whole land as they retreat: “They are mining the entire country.” They are mining dwellings, mining equipment, and even the remains of deceased miners.

He went on to say that such action was a “total tragedy” for the impacted communities.
