Over the weekend, a wild sucker punch was thrown during a high school track race in Florida.
The punch happened on Saturday at the Tohopekaliga Tiger Invitational in Kissimmee.
According to Canadian Running Magazine, the incident occurred during a 1,600-meter race.
According to witnesses, the athlete who threw the punch was not involved in the race. He was reportedly standing on the track when the first-place runner—who was eventually punched—told him to move out of the way.

Instead of moving on the next lap, the athlete reportedly obstructed the first-place runner, who pushed him over.
In apparent retaliation, the athlete in black pursued him and hit him in the head.
It was not immediately clear whether any criminal charges had been filed in connection with the incident.
According to Running Magazine, police were called to the scene, but it was unclear whether any charges were filed.
