Lorraine Kelly, a Scottish journalist, and television personality has chastised Prince Harry for failing to attend his grandpa Prince Philip’s burial ceremony.
The Duke of Sussex has been chastised by Lorraine Kelly for skipping the major family function due to safety concerns.’
On Wednesday, the 62-year-old host claimed he would regret his choice and questioned why he wouldn’t have felt comfortable in Westminster Abbey, where the ceremony took place.
Lorraine said: ‘I must admit up until the very very last minute I thought, do you know what – Prince Harry will just come over. I think he’s really going to regret this.
‘He’s not going because he says he doesn’t feel safe. For goodness sake, they’re in Westminster Abbey.
‘Can you imagine how many people are there looking after the Queen and everyone else? It just seems a shame.’
The Queen’s grandson is receiving criticism for staying at his California house instead of attending the ceremony, citing a dispute about police security as the reason for his absence.
“You can’t hire Scotland Yard!” Lorraine Kelly had previously attacked the Duke of York after learning of his protection plan for coming to the UK, telling viewers.
