ISLAMABAD: The issue of the ‘threat letter’ claiming evidence of a foreign conspiracy to topple Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government landed in the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Advocate Zulfiqar Bhutta on Wednesday took the “threat letter” issue to the Supreme Court, requesting the apex court to order a thorough investigation into it.
Prime Minister Imran Khan in his speech at Sunday’s public meeting waved a letter claiming it to be evidence of a foreign conspiracy to turn down his government.

Petitioner has requested the apex court to issue directives for the authorities to hold a probe into the matter.
Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday in his speech after inaugurating the E-passport service said that he will show the ‘Threat letter’ to senior journalists only.
Earlier, Prime Minister Khan said that he couldn’t share the letter publicly in view of the foreign policy, however, he is ready to share it with the chief justice.
The premier said that it was received on March 7, just one day before the tabling of the no-trust move.
