Sofia Vergara is a natural blonde, despite the fact that she is better known as a brunette. She’s now going back to her roots and whitening her hair in preparation for Season 17 of America’s Got Talent.
“Blond again,” the 49-year-old Colombian actress captioned a fresh-faced snapshot showing off her (apparently) sunkissed new ‘do, courtesy of her longtime hairstylist Kelly Kline. Vergara appears to be posing in her bathroom while wearing a plunging black camisole top for her third season as a judge on the NBC talent show.

Fans and friends alike gave Vergara’s new appearance the “golden buzzer” treatment.
“I think it’s amazing but who am I to judge hair,” fellow AGT judge Howie Mandel, who is bald, joked, while Elizabeth Hurley, Courteney Cox, and co-star Heidi Klum expressed their approval.
Ironically, the former model has previously stated that her blond hair made it more difficult for her to get into the acting industry.
“I’m a natural blonde, like my siblings,” Vergara told Parade in 2011. “When I started auditioning for American acting roles, they didn’t know where to put me. A blond Latina?”
She ultimately chose to colour her hair a deeper colour.
“The moment I dyed my hair dark, it was, ‘Oh, she’s the hot Latin girl,’” the Modern Family star told Self in 2010. “I loved it. Being brunette toned me down a bit.”
