ISLAMABAD: The no-confidence motion against Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan put forward by the joint opposition has been approved in the National Assembly (NA) for discussion.
Opposition Leader in NA, Shehbaz Sharif, tabled the no-confidence motion against the premier.
According to Bol News, some 161 members of the opposition benches were present in the lower house at the time of approval, while the required number was 68.

After approval, NA Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri has adjourned the session till March 31.
The ongoing session includes no-confidence motion against the prime minister and calling attention to notices on public interest matters.

On March 25, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaisar had adjourned the session till March 28 evening as the opposition’s demand for a no-confidence motion was included in the agenda.
