According to sources, Katie Price was dumped by fiancé Carl Woods after he accused her of cheating.

Carl, 43, bombarded Katie with angry texts accusing her of being a “cheat and a player.”

According to a source, the enraged car salesman, 33, called off their engagement because he couldn’t trust her.

“Carl believes Katie slept with another man behind his back,” the source continued.

“In a series of texts, he accused her of lying to him and using her friends to conceal the phone number of the man he believes she’s been seeing.”

“He called her a ‘cheat and a player,’ and told her he’d had enough of her.

He believes he can no longer trust her, and that this is the end of the road.”

Carl proposed to Katie, a mother of five, in April of last year, ten months after they began dating.

They were planning to marry this year and had been trying to have a child.

Carl appeared in court last week, accused of using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour in a dispute with Katie.

He arrived at Colchester Magistrates’ Court holding hands with Katie, but later posted, “This is what loyalty looks like,” alongside a photo of himself and his dog.

He will stand trial after denying the charges.
