As the trio costumed as Batman and Spiderman and a pink bunny as superheroes interacted with the children inside the Kharkiv Metro station, they burst into laughter and pleasure.
Children in Ukraine have been suffering a bleak situation as a result of the continuous Russian invasion, and instead of enjoying the simple pleasures of childhood, they are hiding with their families in basements, beneath bridges, and metro stations. Three entertainers are attempting to lighten their spirits in order to help them pass the time.
In a video shared on Twitter by Reuters, children can be seen playing and dancing joyfully with them. While participating in the artists’ entertaining activities, the children may be heard giggling aloud.

An entertainer dressed as Spiderman is heard saying in the video, “We are just three guys, a trio of guys who are daring, healthy and jolly. We are going to help our children with whatever we can do. We can bring joy and smiles and with that, we help. We are not leaving our kids.”
Their gesture was well-received by netizens. Many users praised them for spreading happiness in the midst of sadness. A user commented, “Make a kid smile, laugh and play in the middle of a war, and you’re their war hero. Spare their futures of all the nightmares, anxieties and trauma,”
