Psy, the South Korean artist who sang the highly famous song Gangnam Style in 2013, was immediately likened to Kim Jong-un by netizens.
North Korea just launched a massive intercontinental ballistic missile into orbit, which was almost hilarious in appearance.
The massive missile, which KCNA dubbed the “Hwasongpo-17,” emerged atop a large launcher with eleven axels. Pyongyang’s international airport hosted the launch. It is North Korea’s first long-range test since 2017, and it was detected by South Korea and Japan.
North Korean media broadcasted the country’s most recent big missile launch, which was edited like a feature film. The footage was noteworthy because it showed slow motion and sped-up sequences of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un walking with officials, followed by the rocket, and gazing at his watch.
Memers and editors enjoyed the missile launch film, which included a theatrical background score and razor-sharp edits. Netizens immediately compared Kim Jong-un to Psy, the South Korean singer who sang the smash hit Gangnam Style in 2013.
While many netizens tweeted images and memes of the Gangnam Style launch trailer and music video, one user created an epic mashup that netizens found funny. In the tweet, the meme mashup video was captioned ‘Pyongyang style.’ With over 550k views and 8500 likes, the mashup has gone viral.
