Russia’s ‘doomsday machine’ has the potential to submerge Ukraine in a 330-foot tsunami in minutes

Russia is thought to have a nuclear superweapon capable of destroying cities in minutes. Putin’s “doomsday machine,” designed to destroy naval bases, has the capability of instantly drowning Ukraine under a 330-foot-high tsunami. Scientists warn that such destruction is possible by detonating a nuclear warhead near the seashore.

The Poseidon is an underwater, unmanned stealth drone capable of launching nuclear payloads, as revealed by Putin in 2018.

The submarine is outfitted with 2-megaton nuclear warhead torpedoes capable of creating 330-foot-tall tsunamis.

The torpedoes, which can travel at 80 mph undetected through the water, are designed to destroy enemy naval bases in an instant.

Putin claimed that the submarines have “nearly no vulnerabilities” and are armed with “massive nuclear ordinance.”

“There is simply nothing in the world capable of withstanding them,” he said.

Underwater nuclear torpedoes, according to scientists, could cause massive tsunamis.

“A well-placed nuclear weapon of yield in the range of 20 megatons to 50 megatons near a sea coast could certainly couple enough energy to equal the 2011 tsunami, and perhaps much more,” physicist Rex Richardson told Business Insider.

“Through the rising-sea-floor amplification effect, tsunami waves of up to 100 metres [330 feet] in height are possible.”

Underwater nuclear tests in the 1940s and 1950s allegedly launched water a mile into the air.

The Poseidon nuclear drone is designed to circumvent US missile defence systems and is believed to be equipped with a warhead capable of contaminating a large area with radioactive fallout.

Experts believe the drone is carrying a cobalt bomb, which is designed to produce more radioactive fallout.

NATO is on high alert as a top Russian diplomat warns that a nuclear attack is a “possible outcome” of NATO “provoking” Russia.

On Wednesday, Russia’s deputy ambassador to the UN, Dmitry Polyanskiy, issued a chilling warning, saying, “We are a nuclear power, why not?”

Putin’s spokesperson said on Tuesday that the Russian President may use nuclear weapons to counter a “existential threat.”

Russia currently has the world’s largest nuclear stockpile, with over 6000 nuclear warheads.

Russia’s leader had already raised nuclear tensions shortly after invading Ukraine, declaring Russia’s nuclear capabilities to be on “special alert” on February 27.

He claimed the move was in response to the NATO alliance’s “aggressive statements” in response to the invasion.
