ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has said the disgruntled members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) were contacting the government to return to the party.
“The vote sellers should be disqualified for life,” he said talking to a private news channel.
Asad Umar said the government would hold historical political gathering at the D-Chowk in Islamabad on March 27.

On March 20, Prime Minister Imran Khan had said that he would forgive the disgruntled members of National Assembly (MNAs) if they returned to the party fold.
“Like a father figure I will forgive you. Don’t ruin the future of the country by associating with the corrupt,” he had said while speaking at a public rally. “A group of dacoits on the basis of their looted wealth are up against the people who are trying to bring change in the country.”
The prime minister had said that bids were being offered by the opposition parties to buy loyalties in the name of democracy. “We are standing at a decisive time,” he had said. “No religion allows people to sell their conscious,” he had added.
