A meeting of the Central Cabinet of the National Party under the chairmanship of Central President and former Chief Minister of Balochistan Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch was held in Quetta on Sunday.

The political situation in the country and the issues of Balochistan were discussed in the meeting.
The meeting termed the Reko Diq Copper and Gold Agreement as an occupation of the national resources of the people of Balochistan and rejected the anti-people agreement outright.
The Central Cabinet termed the Reko Diq agreement as a fraud with the people in the name of development and took a stand that the Balochistan government would not be allowed to sell national resources at exorbitant prices.
The people of Balochistan and the National Party reject the Reko Diq Copper and Gold Project agreement outright.
The central cabinet of the National Party took the position that the Balochistan government had ratified the agreement in a hurry in which the majority of the cabinet members were not present which proves the dishonesty of the Balochistan government.
The statement said that the federal government had lost its mandate following the moral no-confidence motion.
The statement said that the secret agreement regarding Reko Diq is not acceptable and the people of Balochistan are not aware of this agreement. Such an agreement will not be accepted in any case. There is a political crisis in the country at present.
“Yes, the federal government has lost its majority, so such governments do not have the power to decide on national resources, while the Balochistan cabinet meeting is also dubious,” they said.

The statement said that the future of such agreements which do not respect the public and national interests will not be better than the previous Reko Diq agreement. The people of Balochistan will never accept any such agreement.
The meeting was attended by Central Secretary General Jan Mohammad Buledi, Dr. Ishaq Baloch, Fida Hussain Dashti, Aslam Baloch, Agha Gul, Ayub Qureshi, Mirza Maqsood, Waleed Bizenjo, Abdul Rasool, Rahab Khan Baledi and others.
