MALAKAND: Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Sunday said that he will forgive the disgruntled MNAs if they return to the party fold.
“As like a father figure I will forgive you. Don’t ruin the future of the country by associating with the corrupt,” he said while speaking at a public rally. “A group of dacoits on the basis of their looted wealth are up against the people who are trying to bring change in the country.”
The premier said that bids are being offered by the opposition parties to buy loyalties in the name of democracy. “We are standing at a decisive time,” he said. “No religion allows people to sell their conscious.”
Time has come for the nation to decide where they stand, Almighty Allah has commanded us to stand with the right and stand against wrong, he said. “It has now become pertinent for the nation to stand against people who are at the Sindh House. Those who are involved in buying people in the protection of the Sindh Police.”
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that both the opposition parties – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan Peoples Party – made cases against each other.
The premier said that the collective morality of the country is being destroyed by the political parties through the buying and selling of the elected legislators. “Being a political party head, I am like a father figure, I am advising you for your betterment that people won’t listen to you and consider you a sell-out no matter what justification you craft for standing with the corrupt,” he added.
I curse upon the power that comes with compromise, PM Imran said.
He said that with his government’s efforts, the United Nations have now started recognizing Islamophobia. “Despite 30 years of politics, Fazlur Rehman never spoke a word on it,” he added.
