During the Irish Guard’s St Patrick’s Day Parade, Kate Middleton looked stunning in green.
The Duchess of Cambridge, 40, wore a stunning £3,200 Laura Green London dress with emerald accents to the first full parade since the outbreak began.
She and Prince William paid a visit to the 1st Battalion Irish Guards at Mons Barracks in Aldershot during the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
The Officers and Guardsmen received traditional shamrock sprigs from the couple.
Kate will also award the battalion’s mascot – an Irish Wolfhound named Turlough Mor – with his own sprig of shamrock.
The ritual of presenting shamrocks originated in 1901, and the Queen Mother was generally the one to do so.
Princess Anne had been in charge of the post in recent years, but Kate Middleton has been in charge since 2012.
The Irish Guards have been a part of the army since 1900, and Prince William is the royal colonel of the Irish Guards.
It comes as Kate and William prepare to embark on the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee tour, which will take them to Jamaica.
On March 19, the Duke and Duchess will go on an eight-day visit of Belize, Jamaica, and the Bahamas.
Their visit is part of a series of festivities marking the monarchy’s 70th year on the throne for the 95-year-old monarch.
From June 2 to June 5, Brits will enjoy a four-day Bank Holiday weekend to commemorate the anniversary, with lots of treats in store.
Kate and William’s abroad tour coincides with Charles and Camilla’s visit to Ireland.
On March 23, the future King and Queen Consort will arrive for a three-day visit.
From April 22 to April 28, 2022, the Earl and Countess of Wessex will visit Antigua and Barbuda, Grenada, St Lucia, and St Vincent and the Grenadines.
From April 11 to 13, Princess Anne will visit Papua New Guinea.
