The swim team practice at a Florida school was postponed when the students found the alligator in the pool.
Deputies rushed to Montverde Academy on a report of an alligator crashing a swim team practice and refusing to leave the pool freely, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.

A safety hook was used to draw the 3-foot gator closer to the pool’s edge, where it was seized by another deputy.
Before being transferred to Lake Apopka, electrical tape was used to tie the alligator’s jaws, which was then removed and “the gator was released on its own recognizance,” The incident resulted in no injuries to humans or alligators.
