A very unethical and offensive welcome ceremony was held during a cultural day, which was being celebrated under the banner of the Jashane Bharan Festival held in the Naimat Stadium, Shakargarh city district Narowal, to greet the chief guests of the function.
The jaw-dropping incident came to light after a dance video of school female students to welcome the VIPs on stage went viral on social media platforms. The guests can be seen receiving the honor proudly in the video.
Bol news received a copy of the complaint application filed by the President Bar Young Lawyers’ Forum in the local police station.
According to the application the function was arranged under the directives of government officials such as AC Shakargarh, CEO Liaqat Ali Ch, DEO Akhtar Mehmood, DEO secondary Ch.Muhamad Iqbal, DEO Female Kulsoom Bajwa, DEO Deputy Allah Rakha Rashid, Deputy, DEO Fouzia Anwar and AEO Ayesha Sultan.
As per report, the program went on under the supervision and guidance of the above-mentioned officials in front of thousands of attendees which includes family members as well.
Speaking to Bol news the Finance secretary of Shakar Garh Bar Association said, the soul of this program was to create and spread awareness among the masses regarding the empowerment, safety and education for girls, but it was very unfortunate to witness that the concerned authorities directed a program in which schoolgirls were forced to greet the guests while dancing to an Indian song.
It is very alarming that this type of shameless culture is being taught and promoted in our educational institutions.
