Former English skipper and commentator Michael Vaughan lauded Pakistan captain Babar Azam for his blistering 196-run marathon off 425 balls during the last day of the second Test against Australia.
Vaughan believes Babar is ”brilliant across all formats.”
Babar has been displaying world-class batting ever since rising to the top ranks as a batsman, especially in white-ball cricket.
However, he was struggling in the longest format of the game where has was not able to score a single ton in the past two years. But his recent Test match innings could allow him to rise as one of the most brilliant and consistent batters in the longest format.
Vaughan believes that Babar, no doubt, is the best batsman across all formats.
On his Twitter handle he tweeted: “Without question, I think Babar Azam is the best all-round batter in the world right now .. Brilliant across all the formats,”

Pakistan and Australia are scheduled to play the final Test match at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore from March 21-25.
